Dr. Paul Nielson is passionate about his profession and his responsibility to your family’s dental health. For Dr. Nielson it has never been acceptable to just be an average dentist or to deliver average results-he has always aimed to exceed expectations.

Dr. Paul Nielson graduated Valedictorian and Summa Cum Laude from Brigham Young University with a degree in zoology. During his undergraduate studies he spent two years in Chile and became fluent in Spanish. He completed his dental training at the University of Washington in Seattle. He graduated as the top student in his class and received many awards and special recognition for his work with dental implants, periodontics, orthodontics, and restorative dentistry.

Dr. Nielson has been caring for patients for the last six years, with the majority of time spent in Arizona. During this time he has taken over 600 hours of continuing education in the past four years alone-much more than the state requirement of 75 hours! His focus of study is cosmetic dentistry, full mouth rehabilitation, implant dentistry, and sedation dentistry. During the summer of 2009, he achieved fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry in recognition of his extraordinary dedication to excellence.

 
Dr. Nielson enjoys treating patients of all ages and maintaining these friendships for years. His passion is creating an individual plan of dental health that will allow each patient to maintain strong teeth, healthy gums and a beautiful smile for a lifetime. He treats every patient as he would treat his own family members and offers his patients access to his personal cell phone number.

Dr. Nielson is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Arizona Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.

Dr. Nielson is the proud father of three small children, Isabella, Lincoln, and Wynston. He has been married 9 years to his wife, Erin. He enjoys family vacations to the beach and Disneyland. His personal hobbies are teaching at his church, snowboarding, hiking, and mountain biking.
